GRAFTON, MASS. (WHDH) - Police in Grafton were able to rescue a fox that was found with its head stuck in a drainage grate.
Police say they found the fox on 30 Danielle Dr. Wednesday morning. The officer found a small fox stuck in the grate with only its head visible.
Public Works and Fire arrived to assist the officer, and the fox was freed using some dish soap.
The fox did not appear to be injured and scampered into the woods, but not before stopping short and looking back at its rescuers.
