A New Hampshire man is facing his sixth charge for driving under the influence. 

At around 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, police responded to a report of a car crash near Forge Village Road and Boston Road. 

As a result, police have charged Nelson H. Progin III, 52, of Sugar Hill, New Hampshire with driving under the influence of alcohol (sixth offense), possession of a class E drug, negligent operation of a car, unlicensed operation of a car and a marked lanes violation.

Progin was arraigned at Ayer District Court on Jan. 19. 

Police say additional charges may be filed.
