Hanukkah begins this weekend and lasts for eight days. Many in the Jewish faith celebrate with holiday with fried foods. We’re cooking up a traditional Hanukkah dish with a tasty twist.

The Dish: Chocolate fritters

The Chef: Gil Govav

— 2.5 cups self rising flour

— 1 pound sour cream

— 2 eggs

— 1/3 cup sugar

— 1 tbsp vanilla extract

— 100 gr semi sweet chocolate, broken

— Oil for deep frying

1. Put flour, sour cream, eggs, sugar and vanilla in food processor and make dough.

2. Form small balls of dough and put inside each ball one chocolate cube. Make sure chocolate is completely covered with dough.

3. Fry in hot oil until golden.
