REVERE, MASS. (WHDH) - A heavy police presence could be seen on Francis Street in Revere after a standoff at a home in the region.

The standoff, which appeared to be over in mid-morning on Sunday, started at roughly 5 a.m.

Reports said that at least one person was barricaded inside a home on the street.

Police say they responded to the home following a report of shots fired. The occupants of the home refused to leave, sparking a special operation response.

Police say all people in the house have been accounted for. A total of six people were removed from the home.

Police have obtained a search warrant for the home and are now investigating.
