This will be brief until we come out of the height of the storm. Storm thoughts:

*Heaviest rain tapers from south to north between 7am & 10am..not reaching southern NH until 10..maybe even 11am.

*Locations north of the MA Pike and focused around metro-north Boston likely end up with 3-6″ of rain. Much of Essex county is under a Flash Flood **Warning** until 10am. Do not drive through flooded roads. South of the Pike it will be more like 1-2″ of rain (with most of the rain done by 8am).

*Strongest winds will be confined to North Shore & NH Seacoast where wind gusts between 35-50mph are still possible until midday. Just inland wind gusts between 20-40mph are likely until early afternoon. After 3pm, wind gusts will range between 15-30mph. Some additional tree damage is possible this morning.

Storm slowly pulls away this evening but clouds, patchy light rain & mist continue overnight. Drier weather arrives tomorrow afternoon.

*Weekend looks decent with Saturday being the milder of the two days. Blustery & cooler on Sunday.

More later once the flooding threat subsides.
