Investigation uncovers MBTA money trouble

BOSTON (WHDH) - An outside investigation uncovered money trouble for the MBTA.

According to the report, security threats at the T’s cash operation facility is, “serious and immediate.”

Investigators found a propped open money room door, missing security cameras and faulty alarms.

The cash operation facility handles nearly $200 million per year.
