Jadiann Thompson is an Emmy award winning journalist. She anchors the 7News 4pm, 5:30pm, 6:30pm, and 9pm weekday newscasts.

Jadiann joined 7News in June of 2015. Prior to that, Jadiann was the 6pm weekday anchor for the NBC affiliate in Kansas City – KSHB TV.

In addition to anchoring every weekday, she reported for the evening newscasts. Many of those days, Jadiann was a multimedia journalist which meant she ran her own camera while reporting. While in Kansas City, Jadiann was honored with two Emmy awards. One Emmy was for best anchor in the region and one was for her piece on the FCC considering loosening restrictions on in-flight cell phone use.
