A mural on the side of Boston’s tallest building is coming down.
The mural by French artist JR appeared last fall on the side of 200 Clarendon, which is still referred to by locals as the John Hancock Tower.
The mural started coming down Wednesday.
Installed between the 44th and 50th floors, the artwork depicts a man in shorts standing on what appears to be a dock.
