LEOMINSTER, MASS. (WHDH) - Police in Leominster are looking for information about a dead sheep found in the town Monday night.
According to the department’s Facebook post, police responded to a landfill on Mechanic Street for a report of a dead sheep.
Officers found a sheep with an apparent gunshot wound. The animal appeared to have been shot through the neck.
Officials estimated the incident occurred between 1-3 days ago.
Police are asking for anyone with any information to come forward by contacting the Leominster Police department.
