FRANKLIN, MASS. (WHDH) - With a chainsaw and a stump, a local sculptor created a tribute to the greatest sports city in the world: Boston.

Jesse Green’s handy work is now the talk of the town. Green took a couple of weeks to complete the project.

The sculpture shows a hand holding up four fingers, each with a world championship ring for Boston’s major team sports.

The logos for the Red Sox, Celtics, Bruins and Patriots could be seen.

Green carved the sculpture using a chainsaw and built it for a client’s backyard in Franklin. He said the homeowner hired him to celebrate the best sports city in the world.

Green said his client loves the sculpture and was “pumped” when he first saw it.
