LOWELL, MASS. (WHDH) - A man was arrested and police said they are looking for two more suspects after an armed home invasion in Lowell early Monday morning.

At around 1:34 a.m., officers responded to a home in the Pawtucketville section of the city for a reported possible breaking and entering in progress. When officers arrived, they said they learned three men had attempted to enter the home to rob the residents when a struggle ensued. The residents allegedly held the door while the attackers attempted to force their way in. The suspects also allegedly smashed a window.

The suspects allegedly took off when they heard police sirens coming. A K-9 search recovered a handgun, crowbar, hooded sweatshirt and other discarded evidence.

Police located a suspect hiding in the woods. He has been identified as 21-year-old Sodana Suy, of Lowell. He was charged with armed home invasion and will be arraigned Tuesday.

Police are still searching for two other suspects.
