MALDEN, MASS. (WHDH) - A man was in court Thursday for allegedly photographing an unsuspecting woman at the Dollar Tree in Malden while he was working.

Christopher Molina, 29, faced the judge in Malden District Court on charges of upskirting and photographing an unsuspecting nude person.

According to investigators, Molina was arrested Wednesday night after witnesses told police they saw him take pictures with his cellphone up a woman’s skirt at the store on Broadway.

Molina, who is an employee at the store, was working at the time. Police said the victim was an unsuspecting customer. Witnesses said they confronted Molina and then alerted the manager.

According to sources, police seized Molina’s cell phone and surveillance video from inside the store that captured the incident on camera. Police are now trying to figure out if this was an isolated incident or if Molina has done this before.

Molina was released on personal recognizance and the judge ordered him to stay away from the woman, the witnesses and the Dollar Tree itself. Molina refused to comment to 7News on the charges.
