WORCESTER, MASS. (WHDH) - A man was arrested on Ingalls Street in Worcester after police said he assaulted a woman with a gun.
Police said the man hit the woman on the head with the handle of the handgun. Doing this caused the gun to fire.
The woman was treated for a head wound. The man now faces several charges, including possession of a loaded firearm without a license and assault with the intent to murder. He will be arraigned on Monday.
