BOSTON (AP) — Massachusetts State Police say a 65-year-old man has been killed when the car he was riding in veered off a road in Sutton and crashed.

State Police from the Millbury barracks responded to a single-vehicle crash on Route 146 southbound in Sutton, Massachusetts, on Saturday night.

Police say the reason why the man traveled off the right side of the roadway and crashed is still under investigation.

They didn’t immediately release his name, pending notification of his family.

The man, who was from Sutton, was extricated from the vehicle and taken to a local medical center, where he was pronounced dead.
