One person was shot and killed in Dorchester Wednesday.
The shooting happened on Ripley Street just before 8 p.m.
Family members rushed to the scene, overcome with emotion.
The victim was in his 20s. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
According to witnesses, he was standing outside when someone came up and started shooting.
A woman who said she’s the victim’s sister was distraught at the scene, yelling the someone in the crowd must know something.
She was also heard yelling at police officers to remove her brother’s body from the ground.
