BURLINGTON, MASS. (WHDH) - State Police responded to a fatal motorcycle crash in Burlington on Sunday.

Initial investigation found that motorcycle was on the access road to the Middlesex Turnpike when it veered into the guardrail on the right side.

Police said they are investigation why the motorcycle veered.

The driver was a 67-year-old Woburn man.

He was thrown from the motorcycle and was found unresponsive.

The man was transported to Lahey Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The crash is under investigation by State Police.

The identity of the driver has not been released.
