BOSTON (WHDH) - Two people were injured after a crash involving an ambulance and an SUV in Roxbury on Tuesday.

The crash happened at the intersection of Hampden Street and Melnea Cass Boulevard.

Three children in the ambulance were being transported to a hospital at the time of the crash. They were not injured in the crash. An EMT and a passenger in the SUV suffered minor injuries.

While the crash happened on a wet and rainy Tuesday evening, police did not say if the weather was a factor or not.
