BOSTON (WHDH) - Boston Police seized a gun and drugs while arresting an unlicensed operator in the South End.

Officers pulled over the driver on Wednesday, when they noticed the vehicle didn’t have a registration decal.

According to police, the driver was unable to provide a license when asked for one.

Police said that because he didn’t have a license the car was towed from the scene.

According to police, a search of the car lead them to a firearm and 37 small plastic bags of what appeared to be heroin.

Officers arrested a 38-year-old man from Boston.

He has been charged with unlawful possession of a firearm, unlawful possession of ammunition, possession with intent to distribute a Class A drug and operating without a license.
