BOSTON (WHDH) - Boston University Police asked students to be on alert after a sexual assault was reported on Sunday.

BU Police said the alleged assault happened in the Warren Towers, located on Commonwealth Avenue, at around 3 a.m. Sunday. The Warren Towers are dorms for mostly freshmen.

An alert was sent out to BU students to warn students of the alleged assault. The victim reported the assault Sunday afternoon but was unable to provide a description of the suspect.

The dorms have 24-hour security.

There is no information on a suspect at this time and no arrests have been made.
