ARLINGTON, MASS. (WHDH) - Police are investigating after a bench was apparently set on fire inside an Arlington High School bathroom on Monday.
Officials responded to reported fire just before 2:00 p.m.
Police said a small fire was found in the girls’ bathroom, and was quickly extinguished. No one was hurt.
According to police, the fire was contained to the bathroom, and there was no other damage to the building.
The Downs Building of the school was evacuated during the incident.
Police believe the fire was intentionally set.
The incident is under investigation.
