NEW HAMPTON, N.H. (WHDH) — A New Hampshire man faces charges after police said he was traveling on the wrong side of the highway.

Officials said Matthew Adlard, 21 of Gilmanton, NH, was arrested just after 3:30 a.m. on Sunday, after travelling southbound on the northbound side of I-93.

According to NH State Police, Adlard has been charged with DWI, reckless conduct and possession and transportation of a controlled drug.

Adlard was released on bail.

He will appear in court in December.
