NORTH ANDOVER, MASS. (WHDH) - One person was killed in a motocycle crash in North Andover Wednesday night.

The crash happened around 11 p.m. at the intersection of Waverly Road and the Salem Turnpike.

The person on a motorcycle crashed  hit two pedestrians in a cross walk.

The motorcyclist was then lying injured in the road and was hit by someone driving by the crash scene.

The victim is a 64-year-old Methuen man. He did not survive his injuries.

The two pedestrians were taken to local hospitals.

Police would now like to talk to someone driving a four-door dark Mercedes that may have driven by the scene and possibly struck the victim.

The police chief said it is possible the driver did not know they struck the victim.
