FOXBORO, MASS. (WHDH) - New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick sent thoughts and prayers to the two officers who are recovering after being shot in East Boston Wednesday night.
Belichick spoke about the shooting on Friday during a news conference.
“We’d like to express our appreciation and support for the Boston Police Department for what they’ve been going through the past couple of days, the injured officers, their families, I can’t imagine the stress that department has to deal with and the challenges every day and the difficulty of the situation they’ve been put in, so I want to let them know we’re behind them,” Belichick said.
