MELROSE, MASS. (WHDH) - The Melrose Police Department is investigating a crash involving a pedestrian that occurred early Saturday morning.
Melrose Police and Fire responded to a report of a person struck by a motor vehicle at 70 Lynde St. at approximately 5:20 a.m. Upon arrival, emergency crews found a 51 year old man. He was taken to an area hospital with serious injuries.
The driver remained at the scene and is cooperating with police. The incident is under investigation and no additional information is available at this time.
