BROCKTON, MASS. (WHDH) - A man accused of the alarming assault of a Brockton High School student appear in court on Monday.

Prosecutors say Andy Thao, 44 of Leominster, allegedly raped a 19-year-old student in the school’s parking lot on Thursday during school hours.

Officials said the two met at a family party and had made plans to meet up the day he reportedly assaulted her.

Thao plead not guilty to the charges.

He is being held on bail.
