BOSTON (WHDH) - The Massachusetts State Police are reminding college students and other residents to check height restrictions on river road bridges before heading to campus.

The issue often arises when college students, renting moving trucks, descend on Boston to move into dorms and apartments.

Police are urging students to check height restrictions, which are usually around 10 feet, specifically in the areas of Storrow Drive, Soldiers Field Road, and Memorial Drive.
