ACUSHNET, MA (WHDH) — A mother and her sister are facing charges after police said they tried to rob a home in Acushnet, while leaving a toddler in their car.
According to investigators, Christine and Stephanie Ferreira broke into a home on Randall Street Sunday night.
Police said they left a 2-year-old girl in the back seat of the car with the engine running.
Police caught the sisters as they tried to escape from a second floor window.
The child is okay and is now in state custody.
