MANCHESTER, N.H. (WHDH) - A water main break in Manchester shut down the residential area surrounding Bridge Street Wednesday night into Thursday morning.
The pipe is one of the two pipes for the city’s main water supply and city officials urge residents to suspend water use.
The 24-inch pipe burst Wednesday night. Crews arrived midnight on Wednesday and are on scene repairing the break.
Officials said the roads will be closed for an unknown duration amount of time so motorists are urged to avoid the entire area.
