MEDFORD, MASS. (WHDH) - A woman has been charged with drunk driving after prosecutors said she hit a State Police Trooper in Medford.

According to prosecutors, Anna-Maria Batista rear-ended the trooper Tuesday night near Wellington Circle.

They said she failed sobriety tests after the crash.

The trooper was taken to Mass General Hospital with minor injuries.

Batista was charged with OUI liquor second offense, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, and failure to use care in stopping.
