Massachusetts workers joined a global day of strikes and protests as part of the Fight For 15 movement on Thursday.

Dozens rallied outside of Boston University, demanding fair contracts for adjunct professors.

In Cambridge, McDonald’s workers went on strike, demanding union rights and a $15 minimum wage.

Fight For 15 organizers said more than one third of Massachusetts workers make less than $15 per hour.
