BOSTON (AP) — A Massachusetts man has been ordered held on $100,000 bail on charges he took photographs up a woman’s skirt, leading authorities to discover child pornography on his phone.
The Suffolk District Attorney’s Office says 51-year-old Mark Barry, of Everett, was arraigned Monday. He’s charged with photographing sexual or intimate parts without consent and possession of child pornography.
Barry’s public defender declined to comment.
Police responded just before 11 a.m. Friday to a subway station in Charlestown where witnesses said Barry took photos up the woman’s skirt on a bus. Police say a search of Barry’s phone revealed the “upskirting” photos and images of child pornography.
Barry was convicted in 2013 of photographing up a child’s skirt while on public transit, leading to the discovery of child pornography on his phone.
