WESTPORT, MASS. (WHDH) - Police have arrested a man after he allegedly approached a woman and child on the beach while fully naked.
Authorities say Paul Carmichael, 55 of Stoughton, approached a woman and her 10-year-old son on Horseneck State Beach in Westport.
Police say the man walked toward the woman and child as an off-duty Massachusetts State Trooper saw the man and confronted him.
The trooper then followed the man to his vehicle, but the man got into his car, a 2001 Chevrolet pickup truck, and drove away.
Westport Police stopped the man on Rt. 88 and arrested him. He has been charged with felony open and gross lewdness.
The man admitted to doing similar acts on the beach in the past.
