(NBC) — Thanksgiving is a time for family and friends to feast together, but one Florida family had an uninvited guest raid their fridge — a black bear with a sweet tooth.
When Mike Chindamo heard a noise in his garage, he didn’t expect to open the door and make eye contact with a black bear.
But what really surprised the man is what the bear decided to eat.
The bear only took ice cream and cake. Then it casually sprawled out on the driveway, unwrapped the cake, and started snacking.
A neighbor captured the video before the bear ran off.
The couple says from now on they will double check to make sure their garage door is closed.
