FALMOUTH, MASS. (WHDH) - A manatee rescued on Cape Cod last month will be heading home to Florida next week.
The Mystic Aquarium said the 800-pound pregnant female manatee will be returning to Florida Tuesday.
She was rescued off the coast of Falmouth in September by an animal welfare group.
The manatee is due to give birth in May.
