MANCHESTER, N.H. (WHDH) - Manchester, New Hampshire Police said a thief walked into Catholic Medical Center and stole a nurse’s purse while she was treating a patient on Sunday.

Police said the incident happened around 5:20 p.m. when the 27-year-old nurse left her purse within 15-feet of where she was treating the patient.

Security staff found the nurse’s purse in a men’s restroom prior to police arriving.

They noticed that the thief had removed three credit cards and cash, but left the nurse’s work and personal cell phones behind.

Police describe the thief as a dark-skinned male with black hair and glasses. They said he appears to be between 20-30 years old and was last seen wearing a Black North Face jacket with a gray hooded sweatshirt, jeans and a backpack.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Manchester, NH Police Department. Police said anyone with a crime tip that leads to identification is eligible for a cash reward.
