WEST SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (AP) — Police say a western Massachusetts boy is dead after being struck by a car earlier in the week.
Authorities say the boy died Saturday, two days after he was struck in downtown West Springfield. He had been hospitalized with critical injuries to his brain and heart.
The boy's name was not immediately released. No charges have been filed against the driver involved.
