(WESTON, MA) — Mass DOT announced today that the transition to electronic tolling on the Mass Pike is on schedule.
Officials say phase one of the construction has been finished at 20 of the 23 locations.
Governor Charlie baker thanked the construction crews and drivers for making the smooth transition.
“We knew this was going to be complicated and we knew this was going to be difficult,” said Baker. “I’m really proud of the team and the work that has been done so far.
Officials say the work zones on the pike are expected to be gone by the end of the week.
