MAYNARD, MA (WHDH) — Police and fire teams responded to an incident in Maynard Monday afternoon after a child was struck by a vehicle.
Officials say a 9-year-old boy was struck by a Honda Odyssey van on Tiger Drive Monday.
The child was transported to the hospital. His injuries are considered non-life-threatening.
Officials say the boy was walking home from school when he ran out into the street and in front of the car. It is estimated the minivan was traveling 10 miles per hour.
There were no other injuries.
There is no word on if any charges will be filed.
