The MBTA Transit Police’s new pup officially has a new name.
Police announced on Thursday the puppy will be named Hunter.

In a post on Twitter Tuesday afternoon, the @MBTATransitPolice account posted photos of their new dog, a Belgian Mal, which will be joining the department’s K9 unit.
The post, which had been shared more than 50 times, asked for naming suggestions.

Among some of the dozens of names suggested were Mr. Spaghetti, Charlie, Deelay, Doggy McDogface, T-Bone, Bark Wahlberg, Signal Problems, Bark St., Strong, Fenway, Scollay, and Rails.
