The MBTA is set to hold its first public meeting on the proposed fare hikes.
Monday night’s meeting will be held at the Breed Middle School in Lynn.
It is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m.
According to officials, the proposal calls for fares to increase by either 6.7 percent or 9.7 percent, depending on which plan is selected.
