Huisken Meat Company is recalling nearly 90,000 pounds of beef products that may contain wood material.

According to the USDA Food Safety and Inspection Service, the Minnesota-based company is recalling 89,568 pounds of beef associated with the "Sam’s Choice Black Angus Vidalia Onion" product.

The food items in question were sold in 2-pound boxes containing 6 patties per box and had "Use By" dates of 5/17/16, 5/29/16, and 6/6/16. The items were shipped nationwide.

The USDA says the wood material was found during production and that no confirmed reports of any customers affected have been reported.

Customers are urged not to consume the products but rather to throw them away or return them.

The USDA has classified this recall as a Class II, or low-risk recall.
