LONDON (WHDH) — Members of the British Royal Family used their high profile to recognize and bring awareness to World Mental Health Day on Monday.

Prince William, his wife Kate Middleton and Prince Harry attended a reception in London that honored people for they have done helping others with mental illness. The reception was part of their new mental health awareness initiative called “Heads Together.”

“William, Harry and I feel it is our duty to do what we can, with your help, to shine a spotlight on emotional well-being and to highlight the support that is our there to prevent or manage the pain in these difficult times,” said Middleton.

The three also rode the London Eye ferris wheel with guests who have suffered psychological problems.
