MILTON, MASS. (WHDH) - Police say an alert citizen helped stop a burglary at a home in Milton.
The Milton Police say the woman called to say she believed four people were breaking into a home. The woman continued watching and provided police with description of the suspects and what they were doing.
Milton Police arrived on the scene and approached the suspects, who were carrying bags. The suspects fled in four different directions, dropping the bags. Other officers joined in on the pursuit and were later joined by Massachusetts State Police.
Other residents, including a business owner, a business employee, and two other residents all helped officers track down and catch all four suspects, who were subsequently arrested.
All of the stolen property was recovered as well.
