Boston has been named as one of the top cities in the nation for jobs, according to Glassdoor.
According to the site, Boston ranks No. 4 in the nation based on how easy it is to get a job in the city, affordability of living in the city, and job satisfaction for the employees in the city.
Boston scored a 3.5 on the 5.0 scale. The hub ranked No. 6 for hiring opportunity, No. 3 for job satisfaction, and No. 3 for work-life balance. Boston fell short in affordability, however, ranking No. 46 out of 50 surveyed cities in cost of living.
Glassdoor estimates that Boston has more than 94,000 job openings.
San Jose took the nation’s top spot in the ranking, with a score of 4.0. San Francisco, Seattle, Boston, and Washington D.C. rounded out the top five.
Elsewhere in New England, Hartford, Connecticut took the final spot in the top 25 list, scoring a 2.6.
