Thieves caught on camera stealing 200 pairs of glasses

KANSAS CITY, MO. (AP) - Security cameras caught a smash-and-grab burglary in Kansas City.

Two brazen thieves broke into the “Optical Innovations” eyeglass store, smashing glass display cases and stealing 200 pairs of glasses.

It took them less than 90 seconds to get in, grab all they could, and get away.

But they weren’t grabbing just any glasses, they were going after high-end glasses.

The owner said she believes the thieves knew what brands to take.

No arrests have been made.

Fixing the broken glass displays will cost about $2,500.
