New video of a recent deadly shooting in Boston shows how officers say they were forced to shoot a suspect.

Police say Peter Fanfan did not comply with officers’ orders and they were forced to shoot him.

The 29-year-old was killed in the Feb. 12. gunfight with police after officers were called to a a Dorchester home for a shooting.

Police say Fanfan is seen in the video raising a white gloved hand. Investigators say Fanfan had a gun and was dragging another man, who was limping.

Officers surrounded the pair and ordered Fanfan to drop the gun. The injured man goes to the ground before Fanfan runs around the first cruiser.

Then, Fanfan is seen in the middle of the street after a car reverses.

Police then fired and Fanfan went down.

The district attorney’s office said a gun was found next to Fanfan and that it had been fired. A bullet was also found lodged in a police cruiser.

Authorities are investigating the shooting.
