Cheryl Fiandaca joined WHDH-TV as an Investigative Reporter in January, 2014.

An award-winning broadcast journalist, Cheryl was most recently the Bureau Chief for the Boston Police Department’s Bureau of Public Information. As the BPD spokesperson she was responsible for media relations and internal communication. She managed the flow of information during the Boston Marathon crisis using social media to communicate directly with the community and news organizations.

Cheryl is an East Boston native who grew up in a big Italian family with six brothers and sisters. A graduate of Suffolk University, Cheryl later went on to receive a J.D. from New England School of Law.

Cheryl began her television reporting career in New York at WABC-TV and later moved to WCBS-TV. She is an attorney and is licensed to practice in Massachusetts, New York and the District of Columbia.
