NEWTON, Mass. (WHDH) — One bar in Newton is more than confident in the Sox!
O'Hara's Food and Spirits has joined Red Sox nation in rallying around superstar pitching closer, Koji Uehara.
“They have a lot of fun here. It's a great neighborhood spot and obviously they have a good sense of humor and show support,” said Ginny Edwards, bar customer.
“I’m not the biggest baseball fan but I love the spirit of course,” said Shannon Twomey, bar customer.
Now O'Hara's has been temporarily renamed “Ue’hara’s.”
The dynamo pitching sensation who's singlehandedly shutdown St. Louis from any late game heroics is the toast of the town.
“We just kind of put it together, and put the sign up,” said Michael Murphy, O'Hara's manager.
So from O'Hara's to Us’Hara's, it’s Koji on tap or at least a sign of the times.
O’Hara’s happily extended an invitation to Uehara to stop by for a little more celebrating.
