Tom Brady’s lawyers have filed a request for a 14-day extension in order to file an appeal to a court’s recent decision to reinstate his four-game ‘Deflategate’ suspension.
On April 25, a federal court reinstated Brady’s suspension.
In the filing, the NFL Players Association said it needs "additional time to coordinate and consult with its leadership bodies and members."
Brady’s team also added high profile attorney Theodore Olson to his defense team. Olson has argued 62 cases in the Supreme Court, including the two Bush V. Gore cases.
