BRENTWOOD, N.H. (AP) — A New Hampshire woman has been accused of forcing her two young children to drink bleach.
Arrest warrants were issued Friday for 33-year-old Wendy Wright of Seabrook on charges of attempted first-degree assault. The Portsmouth Herald reports Wright is being treated in a hospital in Boston. She would be arrested in Massachusetts as a fugitive from justice and then returned to New Hampshire.
It wasn't immediately known if she had a lawyer.
The warrants allege that Wright attempted to cause serious bodily injury to the children, ages 6 and 7, by inducing them to consume bleach. The children also were taken to a hospital and released.
Arrangements for the care and custody of the children have been made.
